Welcome to Porongurup Pure

Welcome to Porongurup Pure, our sheep and buffalo dairy and cheese making venture.

Porongurup Pure is located at the base of the Porongurup Ranges, 14km east of Mount Barker in Western Australia.  Our farm is nestled between local vineyards, spring fed  creeks and jarrah forests with mountain ranges to the north and south of us – it’s our own little slice of paradise.

Our sheep and buffalo thrive in this area producing excellent quality milk.  This results in cheeses and yoghurt that are fresh and creamy with rich, gourmet flavours. 

All our cheeses are handmade on premises using time honoured cheese making techniques.  We invest so much of ourselves in ensuring everything is right, from milking the girls right through to the final cheese product, that the result is beautiful products that have a story to tell. 

In addition to the sheep and buffalo we host a number of bee hives producing rich, golden honey.
